Since taking office in March 2024, Trenton has prioritised key issues, including:

  • Protecting jobs in the Macquarie Park Innovation District and opposing NSW Government housing reforms that jeopardise 30,000 local jobs
  • Creating an Innovation State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP) to safeguard the unique zoning of the Innovation District, a pioneering initiative in NSW and Australia-wide.
Trenton’s record of achievement includes leading the campaign to Save TG Millner Sports Fields through compulsory acquisition. In the previous term, Trenton worked to save Macquarie Ice Rink from demolition and campaigned for the long-mooted traffic lights in Eastwood.
